Irish Women Revolutionaries: Part 1 of 6

In light of the fact that Sunday 9 May is Mother's day, and in remembrance of my grandmother Anne Magee who served with Cumann na mBan from the age of 17 until 21 in the Colmcille Branch, Dublin (1917-1921), I am posting a six part video series from YouTube (owned and posted by MumblesOg) which comprises Sinéad McCoole's film "Guns and Chiffon". Featuring actual footage from the period, including the Easter Rising, the Irish War of Independence, and the Civil War, it gives a real sense of what occurred, and what Irish women revolutionaries had to endure.
