Sepia Saturday: 'Nollaig Shona Duit', Happy Christmas to You!

On this Sepia Saturday, I have decided to revisit 'Nollaig Shona Duit', Happy Christmas to You!, a musical journey through photographs of my wonderful Irish family across time. Originally created in 2011, for the tradition of blog carolling, I put together this video of images — some sepia, some black and white, some colour — along with my favourite rendition of 'The Wexford Carol', a very beautiful and traditional Irish Christmas carol. Alison Krauss sings the lyrics, accompanied by Yo-Yo Ma on cello and Natalie McMaster on violin. The 'Wexford Carol' is said to have originated in 12th century County Wexford, Ireland. So...turn up the sound on your speakers, enjoy the music, and know that I am...

Wishing you and yours all the joys and blessings of the holiday season!
Happy Christmas to All!
